I'm in the market for a car but can decide what route to go.
What is a cobra Worth stock. I seen some from $15k to $20

Is the 2013/2014 really worth the 30k ? Any opinions ? Or go to a 2011/12 which seem to around the $20k also

The 03/04 cobra has a look that's hard to walk away from but the power of the coyote is no joke at the end of the day get what ever makes you happy!

Coyote for the nicer interior amenities/electronics. Makes it more enjoyable to drive around in for longer trips, IMO.

That's the reason I like a coyote since its more practical. you can say since they r newer. But I would like something with a decent power but being able for long trips. Reason why I would choose coyote but don't wanna pay $30k. That's why I look back at the cobra since I seen one with low miles below $20k

Anyone else selling their cobra not convertible lol

Coyote. Cobra prices are bloated.

I think the cobra is a great looking car and great platform for improvement. Coyotes are just the new terminators on the block. Much better platform out of the box. So just depends on your looks.

I'd choose a 13/14 Coyote or even a 05-08 Shelby, I love my Mystichrome, but I would like to have something newer and different from a new edge.

Hard choice... if you plan on keeping the car for more than 10 years probably the cobra would hold more value as its a cobra and not a regular gt... if your going to modify it I would get a 03 cobra as you can make easy power with basic boltons and its cheaper to buy and a coyote will cost more and would probably void warranty if you start to modifying it. I like the looks of the coyote though.

Practicality 5.0 all day

Cobra does have the novelty tho.

I've driven both, the 03/04 had a shitty ride compared to the new 11-14s

The only thing the Terminator has going for it really in 2015 is its looks. Its a badass looking car but everything else is stone age dated on it. 2011-14 GT's are as fast as the Terminator in N/A form, Better everything on it. Terminators would be a good buy for around $12-$15 for a decent mileage car, but for $20-$25k, I'd rather just get the newer Coyote. So what its just a GT, I stopped caring about badges long ago.

This is a good subject. As the real world prices get closer between the 2, it does make for good debate on which way to spend your hard earned money. Both cars are Great to start with and have huge potential. The Coyote has the new technology and modern looks. The Terminator has the charm of a modern classic with a drivetrain that still holds its own with anything out there. The history of the Terminator has kept the insurance premiums high, so both cars will be the same to insure. Coyote's get love from most people and the Terminator gets frantic love from die hard enthusiasts. The Terminator gets you the best parking spot at Knott's and ten years from now, the lower production numbers will make Terminator sightings a rarity.

Drive both cars in stock trim..your going to be spending a good chunk of change either way, so make sure it's something you really want. No amount of opinions from a forum can amount to physically driving and feeling both cars. Also keep in mind, if you are financing, lenders often give better interest rates and warranties to 05' and newer vehicles. You can get an extended warranty with a termi but it won't compare to the coverage you would get buying a newer car. Personally, I'm not a fan of having what everyone else has so I would choose the termi because if it's growing rarity. I've driven a few termis and they feel more like a drivers car to me.

That sums it up pretty good! Love the terminator just because it's rare to see one on the street and when u do its pretty cool but also the coyote also has some what of that look. Power plant see big potential on both. I do like the warranty part but then again you really can't do anything without a voiding which sucks lol and to finally terminator at dealer at least a reputable one will be hard

I'm keeping my mind open to both worlds not in any kind of rush but really what to have a mustang back in my garage lol

You are right but I want an old school to build it up. Just for the joy or wrenching and seeing your finishing product
