So last year I drove the coyote out to ohio for thanksgiving it's a bit of a road trip but I don't mind it this year I'm looking to maybe rent a car don't want to add another 5k miles on my coyote from the trip. I've looked at hertz which seem to haw decent prices what would you guys reccomend I'd like an awd mid size vehicle in case I get caught up in snow like last year not fun in the mustang!!

I've used hertz and enterprise, I had a newer car with enterprise for near the same price as hertz, look around for discounts [patriot]

If your credit bad, hit up ed650 and he will sign on a car that will end up being a temporary rental once the finance company comes and picks up the car 6 months later for no payments [Wink]

I use toyota rent-a-car for road trips.

I'm going to CO and back this weekend, 2500 miles round trip. Saving money by renting a toyota even with paying $10/day extra for unlimited miles vs driving my 15-17mpg truck.

Seems to be much cheaper than other rental places and the dealer near me that I use sends a shuttle to pick up and drop me off, and the cars have always been the absolutely fully loaded top of the line models rather than no option strippers like other rental places I've used.
