So my two pits have ticks. Not sure how they got them, but I can only think back to myself noticing them after I picked up from a friends house this past week. Where I'm going with this is, any recommendations of where to take them to kill the ticks, bathing etc etc. Is there any great mobile services or near by shops. San Francisco - San Mateo. Please help.

Just get some tweezers and pull them out. Make sure to get the head. Monthly flea and tick treatments are pretty cheap. Ask your vet.

Some groomers perform "flea dips" not sure if it kills ticks as well though.

hahahahaha
Went to half moon bay with my pit once and he got into some bushes chasing after some squirrels and when he came out he was full of ticks. I spent an hour with some tweezers plucking them out, bathed him with some flea and tick shampoo, plucked some more out after he dried and gave him some frontline. It worked well for me good luck with your dog.

I usually just give both of my dogs a shower with oatmeal shampoo. Never had a problem after that
