You can't stop what will happen. Just prepare to be able to survive a few days without running water, electricity. Have an emergency bin with food, water, flashlights, batteries and radios.

Just consider yourself lucky, I didn't feel the one on Sunday morning also but I remember the one in 1989, that one was crazy, freeways moving around like crazy, in 89 I was under a freeway in Walnut Creek and it moving around like a snake, it was insane, sad part is all the people that died on the Cypress and some that were trapped alive for days and some got out and some didn't make it, I guess they build things better because the damage isn't too bad from what I have seen

felt the napa one this past weekend while I was camping at Lawson's landing. shook the hell out of my 4Runner while I was sleeping in the back. scared myself awake, pushed the truck into first gear and it shook for about 15-20 seconds. after a long night of drinking, not what I wanted to wake up to. lol

Stop worrying about it and live your life, if you can't then move. There's nothing else you can do to stop what will happen someday.
