Here it is now.......................

Yes, Bozo the clown plows into me at 40mph while I'm sitting at a red light and slams me into the SUV that's sitting in front of me. I take an ambulance ride but get out the same day with a neck brace and 3 types of pain meds. A little banged up but I'll survive.

He had AAA insurance and I just put the car on full coverage a month ago! Of course, they're trying to low ball me but I've got a folder of receipts 3" thick and it was covered as an antique car (25 years old). I should get a decent chunk change and I retained salvage rights so I can keep it! And yes, I will be parting it out but the motor is going in my '27 roadster. Most everything else will be for sale, though. Couple of pics of stuff that I'll be unloading...............

I truly feel for you, If something like this happened to my car I wouldn't know what to do. It is a glad thing you got out okay though. For what it's worth, it was a very nice car. [Big Grin]

Man, you put some time and money into that thing [Frown] The first pic looked plain jane, then I saw the rest of the build picks.

What a shame the douche was looking at something else besides the road and you have to take a ride in amber lamps and not the stang.

Bottom line is at least you came out of the hospital without a staff infection or some other disease in one day.

Glad you are ok. Sucks to see the car like this. But in the end you are alive, and that is all that really counts.

That really sucks, good to hear you're ok and still walking. It could have been worse. Being rear ended at 40 mph is no joke.
