I don't know what the cost difference is between the 2, but if you have the funds, sell your car, use it as a down payment and get yourself a new 5.0. Much easier and less stress

Bang for the buck, a 3V will never compare. I've given up on making mine fast, and I seem to enjoy it more. It's a fun cruiser that looks good, but if you want to go fast, coyote is the way to go.

I put JBA long tubes on my 3v. And smoked Ls1's all day.
JBA, h pipe, short throw, JLT cai, sct tuner, 4.10's, spec stage 3 clutch was a big help. 100 shot of nos helped too.

3v are good motors. put a supercharger and ull smoke the new cayotes no problem. i now cause i smoked a few. 2.3 roush tvs ftw!
