watch out, the older ones are right around 10k now. I think I'd like to own one for about 1 year. Enough time to have fun with it but not long enough to go bankrupt from repairs.

2002, 03, 04 models are pretty cheap but I have no idea what maintenance and parts cost. I've been wanting to get one for a while but also don't want to go bankrupt maintaining.

Anything AMG is awesome. But as a German car lover and owner, I can tell you anything German is crazy expensive to maintain. Just normal run of the mill windshield wipers from O'Reilly's was $65 for my 528i. Anything with an AMG, M, or S on the decklid will cost you even more than the standard car.

E55 are fast ass hell. I got smoked in my old set up on I880. Definitely FAST sedans

Runs 11 with a pulley and a tune. No real maintenance issue on the E55's. It is one of their most reliable cars.

What about the 63, the 55 is what the liters? I drive from Richmond to the Oakland hub 4 times a day so I see a lot of cars. Today I seen a small SLK 55 and on a return trip I had a chance to reminence wile driving next to a late 80s or early 90s I think 190 AMG with the old Hammer wheels.

They're pimp on the inside and outside, only drawback is auto if you even care. I've driven around one if the non supercharged ones and they're quick little kraut rockets

4 door 335i BMW are sleepers as well. Those things are plain with no "M" badging and will blow the doors off of most of the cars out there. Including mustangs. They're just a tune away from 400+ horsepower. Even the non-sport versions.

Sorry the 93 Cobra isn't for sale, his E55 fun to drive, he lets me borrow it when I am in Vegas, check out his house, I visit him all the time, if it wasn't so hot there I would move there, funny thing is he owns a Prius and Volt also, California has too many laws

Government employee and it's cheap in Las Vegas, he is from the Bay Area but he couldn't afford all his toys if he lived here again, it cost too much.
