so i have the Mac axleback on my 2013 5.0. now under lower rpms there is a drone. i was wondering if i took out the resonators if this would improve the drone at all? thanks in advance [patriot]

I would think that would cause more drone and in car noise?

Its the mufflers. Removing the resonator will not remove the drone just might change the tone

Although i think Macs have the best sound to them. They are known to Drone when a axle back system

i wasn't if changing the tone would improve the drone at different RPMs...

thats what i'm curious about, i've never had experience with resonators before and why they're on the car except to lower the noise.

It may change the rpm slightly for the drone but made end up louder.
