Years ago, use to use my brothers truck to
Trailor now that's not an option since it was
Hit by a drunk driver... Anyone ever rented
A truck and trailor from uhual? Or a setup
From any other locations? Buddies car broke
Down last year at sac,and yeah don't
Wanna know how much it cost to get back
To San Jose..since it might cost the same
To rent somthing.. Thanks for any help!

Don't ever rent a truck from uhaul Miles get expensive as hell. You would be better off borrowing a truck or get a rental then go to uhaul. My friend rented a truck for uhaul and paid about 250 to Stockton and back. Damn near same as a rental from enterprise.

Thunderhill to fremont is about $1000.
Remember its round trip the tow operator isn't going to get a load on the return trip. Its 3 1/2 hrs each way plus load and unload time. So that 8+hrs of labor plus fuel, truck, bridge toll, ect.

I used to rent a truck and trailer from United Rental. It was a while back so I'm not sure if they still do it but back then it was around $200 for a 24 hour rental. Drove from Alameda to Sac and back. They were in San Leandro as I recall.
