It wasn't a real ticket. They made it seem like it was just make the homeless guy happy. Looks like they might let him keep the money though.

The guy that made the video informed the cashier that he was going to give the guy $1000, So he gave the cashier the money. He used the lottery ticket as a way to get the homeless guy into the store probably thinking it was a $5 dollar winner but the cashier did a "check" on the ticket and gave him the $1000.

I don't give away my money like that but i'll do give them loose change if i have some or if there outside at Food store i'll buy them a bag of chips or a sandwhich that is already made
