Yes they give you more back if you file correctly. Your school should give you a tax paper I forgot exactly what it was but it is like a w2 kinda.

I had a little side job when I was going to school. It was a real suprise when I did my taxes the first year. The return was way more then I expected. Good luck.

Post pics of your cash when you get it, all the real tax return ballers post pics of their money.

You should get some sort of tax credit. It's been a while for me. Please don't blow it all on mustang parts. Spend it on your education

Is that full time students or can part time students also get that?
Does it come in the mail?

If it is your first year it is called Hope Credit. It extends to tuition and educational expenses like books, extra class fees, etc. You should get a form in the mail that outlines how much is applicable.

you can also claim all of your schooling expenses, if you are only claiming one $800 semester don't expect to get much more than half back

$800.00 isn't going to make much difference on your taxes! But you still need to claim it, you will get form from school!
