I got my son a ps3 for christmas with a bundle of yakuza/samurai. And tekken/street fighter games that came with it.

Well i never thought of having to censor his games "hes only 7yrs old but very advanced, he builds those 200pc lego/dragon figures by himself" and "daughter 4yrs old but shes fine with her leapster stuff"

The fighting games street fighter, tekken, and marvel are alright but not doing anything for his problem solving skills lol

Way of the samurai, dynasty warriors 6 etc.I was watching him kill innocent people but what did it for me was, he thought he would harrass a lady "taunting" her with his sword and he thought that was funny as hes chasing her. "nope" im not having that. "Thats exactly why he we didnt buy gta"

Anyways im not a gamer and if you gamers can help me out picking out good games as in games that dont suck/boring.

Eduacational, problem solving, kid missions like jak and dexter types of games are along the lines of what im looking for.

Should have gotten an xbox 360 with a kinect. Quite a few titles that require interaction, all kid friendly. My 7 year old sister plays kinect adventures and kinectimals.

We bought the ps3 with games used, price factor.. They also have a wii, 3ds, some other ds handheld, leap frog leapster thingy. I figured ps3 would give them a wider choice in bigger kids games for a "cooler [Roll Eyes] " learning experience, harder levels, etc.

Gt6 i agree but they are not into racing games.
Lego marvel, and animal planet sound great.
Lol it was right infront of me, they play with legos and watch animal planet alot lol.

Yeah no gtav, I let the little one play Gta San Andreas until the language started kicking in and couldn't let it go on. Maybe someone else's kids but not mine either.
