Does anyone know who or where I can rent a flatbed trailer from? I know Uhaul has them but I don't like their setup very much. Are there any places that have real flatbed trailers for rent? Preferably near Hayward/Castro valley. Thanks!

All star rents has them, but I don't think they have any locations over in your area.

This place has enclosed trailers 20 & 24 feet and also the low profile quick load trailers. All $100 per day. It's a deal when you think of the cost of buying one new. That's the route I'm going for my next track day.

Found it bro

That looks great but it's all the way in San Jose. I'm hoping to save time from having to travel just to pick up/drop off the trailer.

Both of these look like pretty good options and it shows that they're pretty local. I'll have to give them a call. My rental will typically be 2-days so the cheaper the better lol!

Have you tried United Rentals? I used to rent a flatbed from them around the Hayward area.

They are in San Leandro but closed on weekends. My old paperwork says (510) 562-3000. I'm talking 10 yrs ago so not sure if they still have car haulers now.

Thanks. Mike, but I don't need a tow right now. I'm trying to plan ahead for upcoming track days. Worse case scenario I'll do the uhaul thing again, but I prefer a real flatbed trailer.

And you're right, used trailers are plentiful for $1500 but I don't really have anywhere to store it. I don't think I can squeeze it in my garage and my wife would hate for it to be sitting in the driveway blocking access to one side...
