Re-doing my Jeep from the frame down.
Ford 8.8 in the rear with C-Clip eliminators with 9 inch wheel bearings, 4.11 gears, Detroit Tru-trac, 31 spline axles
Dana44 Front with 4.10 gears, reverse shackle, high steer.
Went spring over with rubicon express spring over springs. Thing looks good, can't wait to get some tires on it and put it on the ground. Should get 1-2 more inches of lift over my old setup.

Shouldn't you have the exact same gears front and back? Or is that only for all time 4 wheel?

Cj7?? Check the frame for cracks and plate as needed especially at steering box, those frames are shit. What size tires are you going with, my brother has a 79cj5 he put a 360 in and sprung over and 36"s look good for mild lift/use.

I'll be running 35s, frame is perfect. My CJ7 has a 92 5.0L in it with a NP435 trans/Dana300 combo

Nice....I have a buddy with a similar year cj7 with full width 60's teralowed 300,nv5600 and the stock 6cyl. His frame is all FUBAR and cracks more every time he used. Even after he fully boxed it. He is not that hard on it, compaired to how I drive....but I knew I was going to be hard on my rig so I got rid of a heep and picked an early bronco...haha. Good luck it'll be nice and looks solid.

I'd like to see one of those with a hemi or srt 8 I haven't looked but I bet people have put one in. Ether way V8 in a Jeep should be fun. I like anything custom 4x4 to low riders.
