Just want to know what u guys have and pros and cons of comcast vs dish?

I just need sports channels and amc to watch breaking bad.

I will need 5 receivers

Are you set on Dish or Cable? There is always Uverse and Direct TV.

find a friend with a direct tv account and is willing to share their account providing you guys negotiate on splitting the bill or what ever your friend would like to work out. get a basic dish(free from craigslist, point dish/run all wires for set up) ask friend to add another receiver to his account. bingo you have direct tv, as long as your friend is ok with pretending he is adding another receiver to his house but really your putting it at another house...keep in mind, dtv is not supposed to know...it works trust me [Wink]

See if u can get surewest its a newer company but have way better internet and cable then comcast and cheap and dont change there rates like most companies had them for about 8 months now and have been more then satisfied

How tech savvy are you? My buddy has a sports package over ps3. It doesn't let you watch anything local. However he has a program that let's you spoof your ip to another state. The in you can watch all the local games.

How good? Damn Comcast has been taking away our channels out of nowhere I lost all my car channels and a bunch of other random channels. [Mad]

For what it's worth, Comcast just bumped the price up on my shit, and dish was the one who lost fx and amc. Not sure if they got them back.

I have had Direct TV, Comcast and AT&T Uverse. I really liked Comcast the best but they ALWAYS raised the bill. Direct TV was good but the bill would get raised from time to time as well. I currently have Uverse and so far I really enjoy it and has been the cheapest so far. We'll see in a year how it goes though.
