Well guys and girls its been a long time since I started this build and finally car is at AOP in Fresno getting final touches done. Motor was done and assembled by turbo50 here's a little run down
308
165 afr heads 1.7 rr
F cam
Holley intake 65 tb ( wanted to go 70)
70 egr spacer
Jab shorty headers
High flow caged h pip with slow masters
Vortech on 5 lbs
Anderson power pipe
42 lb injectors with matching mafs
2 row radiator with dual contour fan
Threw a t5 lol
Stock rear end which I need to upgrade and brakes
90/10 lakewoods 4 cyclinder springs in front stock rears 50/50 lakewoods rear

I think that pretty much sums it all up I have nothing to hide its gonna be my daily driver it does need some body touching up and interior but motor wise its all great for now
I would say let's play the guessing game of how much it will put down but some of you already might have an idea lol

No need for a S-trim, your A-trim is working very well.

Just throw a smaller pulley.

It wouldnt make a difference, A-trims can only push so much CFM, all would do is create higher inlet temps, that's why a S-trim was made.

Lee is right the a trim is only capable of so much i think mine at 5 lbs ill save a little life on it since its not completely maxed i think max is 6 I've seen ppl say they get 8 on a A trim idk

How is the drivability on the tune? Does it cruise around smooth like stock? I need to have someone clean up my tune cause it bucks and breaks up sometimes while cruising around on light throttle or part throttle. What MAF are you running?

Drive ability is awesome feels so smooth at idle it just sits there idling no surging great tune i couldn't have asked for more

Posted by sleeping stallion (Member # 8162) on :

Im running a pro m that matches my 42 lb injectors

Posted by CobraCoupe (Member # 7233) on :

That's awesome, that's the only thing that I don't like about my car is how the driveability is when just driving around normal, under WOT it runs like a beast. How much the tune run? Do they tune diablosport?

Definately some 4.10s slicks and a bit of suspension to get out the hole faster... What kind of springs do you have because the car seemed a bit stiff when you would launch

Posted by sleeping stallion (Member # 8162) on :

It has 4 cyclinder springs front stock rears 90/10 lakewoods but stock shock in the rear i need some rears with a sticky tire and some control arms

Posted by 86hatchkid (Member # 10698) on :

Is your front sway bar still on there? Interested in some mm lower control arms for 140?
