So I'm not to happy with my 86 dash so I'm thinking about converting it to a 87-93 dash what do I need to swap

Dash
Cluster
Center counsel
Door panels

Would I need to change the steering colum and harness too?

I started one of these before I realized it was a total pain in the ass and quit. If I did it again it would be an sn-95 dash with custom gauges. I suck at wiring though. I think I was doomed from the start on mine lol

Thats funny, if I dont get frustrated and sell my heap, Im going to do the exact opposite!

I was going to just leave the harness in place, change out the dash shell and frame, and adapt the wiring to the different cluster. Also, I do know that the side mount bolt holes are different, between the 4 eye and aero cars.

Long term, Im going all aftermarket guages, so might just do both at once.

I also was just going to leave the door panels as is (91), but my other plans might involve swapping doors.

Dont suppose your 86 has black interior? Let me know, thats what Im after...

Get an Aero car. Leave the 4 eye alone. There is already enough butchered 85-86s as it is.

I've decided to leave it as is don't really wanna deal with the whole swap
