I had 6000k's on my '68 but they were too blue, so I went with 4300k's and they're very white. I would say there's no yellow tint to them whatsoever.

i agree. the whitest is 4300k any higher it gets a lil bluer. I wouldnt go bluer than 5000k though. I cant remember which are on my galaxie, theyre either 5500 or 5000 but theyre just a bit too blue for my taste. My friend just got 4300k's on his mustang. looks classy and white. Not yellow. OEM HID's are 4300k

That's what I'm looking for something simple and classy but they look good with very minimal blue, I just dont want to get pulled over for that.

4300 will be your best choice for pure white. I'm tired of seeing 6k everyone with HID has 6k its played out IMO post a pic when you install them

on my fogs i used a 9004 headlight bulb but its just epoxyed on its not the right way but it not goin anywhere

i think for fogs its a h3 socket but u need to remove the little reflector so it goes in all the way because its realy shallow and the bulb is longer than stock

No hitting a deer is not gay just expensive lol. But you can always hit a gay deer...but it depends if cars equipped with projectors on the headlights also some cars without projectors still take hids very well.

i wouldn't say they're "gay" but i understand the sentiment. most people try to act like the hid's are better but really if you don't have a projector the hid bulbs tend to scatter the light everywhere and don't send a focused beam as well as an oem halogen design. with that said my stock lights in my galaxie sucked ass and kinda felt like i had no lights at all. but i admit that i did it for cool factor. a halogen upgrade probably would light the road better still.

I went and put ultra clear head light on my fox vert that I got from Sacramento Mustang , and put my HID kit in and it did not scatter the light and also it points down so it doesn't hit on coming traffic or blind the person in front of you through the rear view mirror, it also improved how much I can see at night compared to the halogens by at least 35% it's not hard to see like it used to be

thanks for the tru input I always wondered if they actually improved the lighting because i replaced my light but used silverstar bulbs and I always wanted more light to see the road better. I am sold I think the HID kit will work better than stock upgradced bulbs in a new housing
