Multiple times throughout my years of interest in fox body stangs ive seen them described as "lx sedans". Yet they have 2 doors and a trunk making them a coupe lol. And everyone calls them coupes when differentiating from hatchbacks because they have a trunk. look at kbb autotrader oreilly etc under vehicle selection They all call them sedans. Are there 2 doors on my car that I dont know about?
Cheers.

They where built on the sedan design of the zephyr and.....forgot the name but they where built off a sedan body a hatch is obviously a "3" door and the "lx sedan" name comes from it having a true trunk but only 2 doors on a sedan design. Make sense?

I always thought that kbb and oreilly has them listed as "highwayz"

Sedan and coupe have been kind of mis-used the past 40 years. Coupe generally refers to a car that seats 2 passengers. A sedan will seat 4 passengers, regardless of the number of doors.
