Just picked this car up last Sunday and have been driving it ever since. Bunch of suspension goodies and very well taken care of. This is my first new edge after a ton of sn95's and a couple fox bodies. So far I'm lovin it! Let me know what you think [patriot]

How I got it...

Although I liked the DD Bullitts, I had to switch it up a bit... so I picked up some Varrstoen ES1's in hyper black with the polished lip. Wheels specs: 18x9.5/18x10.5 et 22 all around. I got a deal on some used tires off a Porsche so the fronts are a bit slim, but they'll do the job for DD purposes [Big Grin]

Tire specs: Kuhmo 235-40-18 / 295-30-18.

I lowered the coil overs and rear LCA's another 1/2 inch or so when I installed these wheels to give it a better stance. May drop it another 1/2 later but have to see after I get a Mach 1 lip on there. But for now, enjoy [Cool]

I agree, the bullitts give it the classic aggressive look for sure, but my 98 cobra is what I use to get 'aggressive' with [burnout]

No, I ditched the bullitts for the BBS style wheels. I liked the bullitts (those are what I bought the car with), but I needed to switch it up a bit.

I was going to change the tires anyway so I decided why not just get new wheels for the new tires so I just pay mounting fees once. My cousin has been asking for the bullitts since I picked up the car so I had a buyer for them already. [patriot]

Varrstoen doesn't have black. I think the only company that makes the BBS replicas with a black face and polished lip is XXR. But then youll have all the extra lug holes because they make them universal fit [Embarrassed]

Thanks bro. Yea, the Mach 1 lip really changes the way the car looks. Simple mod that does wonders LOL! The wheel offsets are et22 all around. Not sure about back spacing though.

LOL...too late, bullitts are gone and I'm trying to get away from the 'usual crowd' of fr500's, bullitts, etc. I agree, black faced BBS wheels would look good too, but I actually like the contrast of these wheels better than having the black on black combo again.

Luke, where you been brother?!? What're driving now? I have a hunch its an E39, but I could be wrong...

I agree, 19's would've been nice, but for DD purposes the 18's are fine. Tires for 19's are more scarce and cost more [Embarrassed]

I'm still on the fence about lowering it anymore due to speed bumps getting to my house, but I really want to...we'll have to see though.

The shop that I got these wheels from had the CCW Classic reps in 16" but no word on the 18-19" ones yet. They do look mighty pretty though!!!

Honestly, so do I haha...but thats why I had to add the Mach 1 lip to change it up a little. I'd 'really' want a 99/01 cobra front but theres no way I can spend money on parts on paint if its going to be my DD. It'd turn into another project that I really dont want to deal with [Big Grin]
