So me and my girl decided last night to head out to Reno for the weekend for her birthday. I havent been there since i was little. All i cared about at the time was the arcades. So what are some cool things do down there besides gambling. Shows, buffets? Anything would help. We're staying at the Silver legacy to give you an idea of where we're gona be at.

Another thing. We're taking her 06 Altima. We should be ok right? Or suggest chains or something? Thanks CA

I remember the buffet right there at the silver legacy being really good. There's a bar on Virginia street called shooters which is ok.
Being that you're taking your lady, I would also recommend the island buffet right in the peppermill casino.

Buy them here anyways just in case. The prices for them up there are outrageous!

Summit Racing in Sparks.

Virginia City, old school town, the heart of silver mining, only reason the transcontinental railroad went thru the town.. your girl should like it.

Must go to the "no name diner" on virginia st in reno.. pretty much right next to the "biggest little city in the world" sign. Its in the very back of the Nugget casino.

The peppermill is probably the best casino in town, highly recommended.

Awful awful is overrated, trust me. I'm sure it's great when your hammered but so is Jack in the Box. I had it sober last time up there to see if it was that good, and it wasn't [Frown]

Virginia City is cool and make sure you check out Cafe Del Rio at the end of the town on the main drag. Yucatan Enchiladas are off the hook and so is everything else there. Very cool old mining town with all kinds of cool little shops.

Cabela's sporting goods shop is a must see (huge place)
Tahoe is close by
Peppermill is a great casino for food and everything else, I'd go for sure if I were you
Grand Sierra has a great steak house (Charlie Palmers)

The weather is getting cold so that eliminates a lot of things to do but the downtown isn't the greatest, have fun!
