The only thing I can say positive about the Giants is this:
This world series was actually won with pure skill, 2010 I still think was luck.

Funny how the A's fans always live in the past since they've done nothing in the present. Yeah Giants have a stadium packed with people all season long. Some may not be actual fans but I enjoy seeing AT&T park full compared to Iakland having to practically give away tickets to fill the seats. Giants are champs doing what the A's couldn't do. We smashed on Verlander and swept the Tigers, maybe you guys will have a shot next year if Beane doesn't trade away your whole team as usual.

For now Giants fans can enjoy another championship, sit on it A's fans. It won't be that long until you can go back to your shithole stadium and watch your team come up short once again [Smile] .

So much hate on the A's like they're in the same conference as the giants. The funny thing is those AT&T stadium are filled with corporate seating for the most part and die hards sprinkled in so you can look at it like this the A's have as many REAL fans as giants do

So was 1954 & it was t until 2010 to win your next one. I just pointed out that the A's have won three in a row and have gone to 3 consecutive world series twice...... And I was alive in 88, 89 & 90. I've actually been a fan of the A's that long.

This has been talked about numerous times on here about how a lot of Die Hard A's fans have been upset with the owners for a long time. That's one of the reasons some of the fans don't go to the games. The coliseum has also seen better days I'm sad to say and unless they do some serious renovations they aren't gonna bring in the BIG money that the Giants do.
But you have to give Oakland some props for doing as well as they did this year with the players and payroll they were working with. It looks like the team is going to come back next season with some improvements so you guys better watch out LOL. [Razz]

2 in 3 years is good. Its the 2 in 58 years that would have me worried. I am not a giants fan or an A's fan. I am not from northern CA. I am from St. Louis and we got our ass handed to us those last 3 games and didn't deserve to play in the World series, I can admit that. But just because the Giants have won 2 in 3 years please don't go thinking that your franchise is one of the best in the MLB. 2 in 58 years is just over 3% of the time you are winning championships LOL. Like I said I am a Cardinal fan and we didn't deserve to be there. The Giants did and they earned that ass whooping they gave Detroit. Great season, just dont get ahead of yourselves is all I am saying.

As an A's fan we have nothing to be ashamed of we had a great year i hold my head high and wear my A's gear all season and offseason long...My hdislike for the giants goes for the purpose of the owners not giving the A's the terrotorial rights to san jose there greedy..When the giants where on there last legs and were moving to florida walter haas helped them out to try to build a stadium and keep them here in the bay...The giants aren't doing them same in return..if its bay love show it..Respect the A's they were the first team in the bay out of all sports to bring a championship here.
