My stock 96 GS-R 5 speed vs a stock 91 Camaro RS with a 5 speed and 305 motor.

It's nothing serious I just want cafords opinions.

i think it will be close, but I wouldn't be surprised if the GSR wins. The 305 tbi motors are turds and the camaro is heavy. Now if it were a 350 tuned port injection, it would be a different story [patriot]

I ones had a 89 healthy Lx 5.0 I raced it vs a Gsr like yours and he pulled on me on 1-2 but after 3rd gear I was gone but yeah I think u should win cuz those car are real heavy:

rev it just under vtec, and drop it. it torque steer a little bit, but should catch relatively quick. and just roll through your gears, shifting at 8200. ( you'll stay in vtec range ). GSRs are extremely rev hungry. but as long as you stay in vtec range, you'll burn that 305.
