Start riding a bicycle as gas prices will only go up from now on. The days of cheap gasoline are over. Wil gas prices here on the USA get as expensive as In Eourpe? It's possible.

This is why you need a little 4 banger. Better yet a motorcycle. I spend about 24$ a month on gas right now.

I drive by the most expensive gas in town everyday and all I could read was the diesel price and it's the same price it was a week ago lol. Is only gas prices going up and not diesel?

I'm cool with Diesel staying where its at instead of going over 5 dollars a gallon lol. What will happen though is once gas starts coming down diesel will start going up.

Yeah its crazy, but if you break it down, like I
did. I am only paying an extra 9 dollars a tank. That lasts me 1.5 weeks. So lets say 20 bucks a month extra. Just have to cut out Starbucks, taking your chick out for dinner 1 night. Small things. People go out and buy a bike, or another small car. But your either going to be paying a car payment, and/or insurance, which Im sure is going to be more than just paying the extra money at the pump.

I've got a company car with company paid gas. I haven't spent a dime to commute to work in nearly a decade.

Does anyone here understand, or know about this 9/10 of a cent in the gas market?
So if I pay $4.99+9/10 of a cent for gas, I'm really paying $5.00 for a gallon of gas.
I don't pay $1.39 and 9/10 for my soda, candy bar or any other item I purchase?! WTF is this 9/10 of a cent [BS flag] about?

Posted by NEIGHT (Member # 8741) on :

Well my tank only holds 10 gallons so I'm at the gas station every week.

I don't make enough money to just put money in.
When the commercial delivery cost go up so will the price of all your goods. We have enough oil & natural gas in the states to tell everyone to kick rocks.

There are ways to fight high gas prices: Ride a bicycle to work, use a bicycle for trips to store or you just walk. Public transportation like bart is good option as well. I ride a bike everywhere and every time I need to catch a flight at the airport, I'll bumb a ride or take Bart instead of fucking around with my car.
I think you mother fuckers should look at alternative forms of daily transportation instead of bitching about high gas prices because the days of cheap gas are over.

^^^When we get Obama out of office & Romney signs the paperwork for oil devolopment here in America the price is gonna go back down.
The real answer is energy independence, not tax the shit out of everyone who needs to use energy. Not everyone can bike to work or want to pack a gun to take public transportation. [Eek!]

Posted by General Butt Naked (Member # 4831) on :

Can the greed of the oil companies really be swayed in any way? People buy gas at these high prices now so as a business, why would they lower them and cut profits? Their interests are with themselves not anyone else.

Romney may be more friendly to the desires of the oil industry, but is there a time when politicians make moves to benefit consumers before corporations?
