How hard is it to install a clutch on a 01 gt I'm thinking about doing it myself to safe some money but how hard is it and what tools will I need to complete this task? How long will it take also?

3 hours

3 hours for someone who has never done it before better double or triple that time.

It's easy money, you might want someone who's done one before to give you a hand with it.

Ya, first time you do a clutch, always better to have a friend who has done it, help you.

If you do it yourself, I'd say much much longer than 3 hours.

Make sure you resurface the flywheel.

Oh, one other thing.. I'm not sure if its the same on an 01 but when I did it on a 99 mustang I needed a stubby wrench to get to one of the bolts on the bell-housing. Man that was a PITA
