so i thought CAfords.com was trying to rebuild its reputation? why then are they allowing MODERATORS to act like this? this has been going on for almost 2 Years...
http://www.californiafords.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=106395

if they will BAN someone for improper grammer then why will they allow thier own MODERATOR who is a DIRECT REPRESENTATIVE of the leadership on this web site that wants to restore itself in the eyes of the local community to continually HARASS its members?

does this ZERO TOLLERANCE policy only apply to members? are moderators above being held to a higher standard?

for those that have been around this site long enough have seen this topic come up before and everything was laid on the table for you to make the judgment yourself on the situation.

we were told a good while back to take some action into our own hands and try and make contributions, hence the trader feedback was created and pinned up in the classifieds for your to state your buisness experience for members to see as long as the moderators keep that thread on the site.

im calling on the moderators to hold thier own to the same standard that you hold us to.

FSTRDNU you are a bottom feeder, just becuase you are a moderator and can use proper grammer doesnt prove that you arent the same trash that comes to this site and represent themselfs as e-thugs. use the feedback thread that we gave the site to state your buisness and be done.

I CALL ON THE MODS TO ENSURE THAT THIS HARRASSMENT BY THIER OWN REPRESENTATIVE ENDS AND THAT HE OR SHE USES THE PROPER CHANNEL AKA THE FEEDBACK THREAD TO POST HIS EXPERIENCE AND GO ON HIS WAY. IF THE BEHAVIOR CONTINUES I EXPECT THE MODERATORS TO UPHOLD THE ZERO TOLLERANCE POLICY THAT THEY HAVE ESTABLISHED AND TAKE THE PROPER CORECTIVE ACTION.

rant over, and no some cry baby is not going to get me to leave the sight or stop posting.

Ive been seeing this for a while.. lol. There isnt much to say other than you guys had a misunderstanding of some sort about a part for sale a good while back and he is still obviously bothered by you posting for sale threads.

I understand things happen and sometimes a person cannot follow their obligation.. meeting, not showing up, etc etc.. I have been stood up many times and it is one of my pep-peeves.

Anyways hope things get cleared between you guys.. GL

Its funny because if you had actually read the site rules you would have pm'd a mod instead of making a post about it attacking another mod. Yes, for those of us that have been here awhile we know this is the wrong way to go about handling it. So to me this is you making a statement, not trying to solve a problem. This is a public forum and for sale add or not, people can post there opinion regardless. You take that chance when posting in a PUBLIC forum. If you have a problem with someone, handle it correctly or get the fuck out and find another site...
Here is a copy of the rules...number 10 looks like the one you were looking for.

1. Be respectful. No flame wars. Absolutely no racial slurs. Racial intolerance will not be accepted.

2. Your posts should be constructive.

3. Corrections to other’s information should not be condescending in nature. This is a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. You are expected to remain civil and express your thoughts in a mature manner.

4. Please keep threads on topic. If you want to ask someone a question about something unrelated, please send them a Private Message or start a new topic.

5. Posting pornography (ANYTHING over PG13) is prohibited. Many members look at this website at work. If anything is even somewhat questionable please put NSFW in the title.

6. Discussion of illegal activities, including “smog hookups”, is prohibited. Any posts about street racing, donuts, sideshows, or anything that is accelerating a car not on a track should be ONLY in the street racing section.

7. Knowingly posting untrue information is prohibited and will result the immediate removal of your account.

8. If you are posting services to work on a car for money, whether you have a full time business or not, your post needs to be in the VENDORS For Sale Section.

9. The Californiafords.com staff reserves the right to edit or delete any post/thread/etc we deem necessary.

10. If you disagree with the actions of the Californiafords.com Staff, express your concerns privately. We are always willing to listen, however, public bashing or criticism of the team will be deleted and possibly end in your banishment.

11. Comments about the price or condition of an item for sale in Ford Sale are prohibited so long as that information has been disclosed by the original poster. If you believe the price is too high express your concerns privately.

12. If you have been banned for any reason, even for one you believe to be incorrect, do not start another username. A ban is not an invitation to start a new account, and if the ban was temporary doing such could result in it being made permanent. If you have any questions or concerns about being banned or receiving infraction points privately contact the administrator/moderator that was responsible for the banning.

13. One Californiafords.com username per member. Only one member per username. Allowing a banned member to use your username to post will result in a banning of your username as well.

Remember that the opinions expressed within this forum are not necessarily those of Californiafords.com or its affiliates.

Thank you for your cooperation, and enjoy Californiafords.com!

The bottom line is the mods run this shit, much like a business owner who has the right to refuse service to anyone. If you do not like the service you receive the only option is to take your business elsewhere.

Peace out [patriot]

I'm with u op but I also understand that this is their site and we are using it for free. Even though I don't agree sometimes, in the end there's nothing we can do and complaining about it is just gonna make it worse.

I would either just swallow it or tell them in private.

I see a trend here. The newer members are upset and can't understand why this mod is doing what he's doing. They think it's unfair, rude & violating their personal space.

Then I notice the older members are on the mods side. They read the sites rules and take it as almost a type of karma for flaking on a MOD. Not even a regular member of this site, but a moderator of a public site.

I guess I'm in the middle. Funny considering I'm not an OG member..... But also not a newb to the site LOL. My personal feelings are the MOD & This member should contact each other and try and work things out. If there can't be an agreement, then I suggest the member in question shouldn't post anything in the fordsale section. That WOULD be the only other way to stop this from happening.
