for windows
go to a CMD prompt

type the following
ping cafords.com

if you get anything besides 64.185.226.140
then flush your dns cache

type the following
ipconfig /flush

try pinging cafords.com again
if it still doesn't come up with 64.185.226.140
then your ISP's DNS hasn't updated yet.
