im basically getting my dads 96 cobra for cheap cause he wants to focus on his fairlane, but i dont really want the car as retarded as that sounds.

so what are these cars going for roughly the lowest you seen to the highest, i think the price has really dropped on these cars.

it has 110k black on black, eaton posi, 410 gears, off road x, cobra r hood still in white, and sitting on 03 cobras and a few other things, but i say it needs a paint job cause the sun faded it to shit.. any help would be apreciated.

Ive seen as low as 4500 and high 9000, dealer would ask 12 for that car

I would suggest 5-7k depending on the condition.

A member here sold his mystichrome 96 with 40k on the engine for 5.5 and his 96 with a 01 engine and 6 speed for 7 . Both cars were very clean . Something that's needs paint is more in the 3.5 to 4 zone

Did he sell em for that cheap on here or else where?? Cause everyone on here wants shit for free!! But it's not a fox paint or not I wouldn't let it go for 3500 but thank u guys this did help.. I think I'll prob look for a trade of some sort rather then sell it outright.. Thanks again

Not a CHP coupe = worthless! Well only here LOL

I'd say 4-6 in this market but don't get lowballed if you don't want to sell or don't have an emergency then take your time someone will be looking for that car eventually.

Being that it needs paint, you'll probably get 4000-4500. Sn95's don't fetch much that's why it's best to buy them if you plan to personalize them and keep it. I know my 98 cobra won't sell nearly for ad much as I think it's worth in parts alone, which is why I'd rather enjoy it then sell it and take a hit.

I say you keep it! I've seen it in person at the marsh creek Cruise we did a few years ago,. You'll find that the 32v motors are fun as hell!

Damn, I remember seeing that car when he first got it and it was clean. I ended up selling my Mystic for $6500, that was painful to do but the market really fell out the bottom on these things.

Ya I remember wanting that mystic lol... I for sure don't need to sell this car I'm getting it for retarded cheap but the thing is I have my magnum r/t that's bagged and 04 c230 for a commuter and a 72 mav project that's one the reasons I was gonna sell it and 2nd is my left knee is thrashed from wrestling so bangin gears all the time is kinda painful so that takes away from the fun.. I think I would wanna trade it for an auto fox or an old school just to smash around for the summer then who knows sell it after lol

I have a 98 cobra and I would say you are in the 4-5800 range depends how clean it is. If it needs paint its going to take a hit. Try to get what you can but I picked mine up for cheap. Prices have really come down on these. Remember, Mods like x pipe and gears hurt the value, not help it. That's my thoughts anyways. I got my bone stock and that's really the only way I want to buy one of these cars unless it's priced really low. You ad a 5000 dollar supercharger to it the value goes up maybe 1000. IF THAT. It's retarded but just how it is. Get a good trade or drive it and have fun.
