A BRO that shits no joke i almost died from that shit two years ago. i was in the icu for a week and a half and in a reg room for 3 days before they let me outta the hosptial mann [Frown] doc told me i had a 65% chance of not leaving the hosptial

i was feeling hella sick for a couple of days and went to the docs he gave these big ass white pills took them and it didnt work i woke up one day and fainted in my hall way. my roomate at the time rushed me to the doc and the did some oxygen test on my and it was way low. plus coughing up blood and shit wasent good eather. Shelby has done many great things for the car industry, but in recent years his senility was really catching up with him and he was becoming a world class douche, good time to go. I'm sure he will be immortalized.

The Automotive and just the world in general lost a great person, an American Icon. He warmed many with his smile, his laid back attitude, his love and passion of the automobile. His long time work with Ford, brought many amazing cars, creative ideas, and helped make the industry what it is today.

I know he will be missed by many. May he be racing through the heavens.

Sucks that he died a year before what is going to be the badest GT500 to date. There is so much hipe about the 2013 Shelby GT500, and he will not get to see it compete against rival cars...

RIP to one of the biggest icons in the history of the automotive industry. We definitely would not have some of the badass rides that are out there today without him. Very sad time for everyone that knew who he was and admired what he has done to revolutionize our world of muscle cars.

Carroll Shelby was a crooked business man who ripped off people and profiteered on the back of others. I know friends of friends who got screwed by that guy. People act like he was some kind of genious with Mustangs. He surrounded himself with people that got it done. He actually didn't know much about the details of his cars. He was many things, and he was responsible for putting together deals that brought some cool cars into existence, but the real Carroll Shelby is not the saint he is portrayed. You don't believe it, ask Pete Brock. I respect the cars that bear his name, but not the man.

Brock will definietly tell how Shelby's complete eneptude contributed to the fire that knocked the Daytona coupe out of its first race against Ferrari in '64. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this guy was a toolbag.

Rest in peace Carrol Shelby; a true automotive legend. Now having said that, in his later years, the guy was a sue happy money grabbing business Man. Furthermore, the Shelby parts and mustangs comming out of the Shelby operation at Las Vegas speedway are way overpriced!
