Well...I think this might be a record.

My friend, slocobra, sold his grey AOD coupe that he had on here over the weekend. The buyer picked it up yesterday at 4:00pm. At 8:00PM, he got a call that the new owner already wrecked it and totaled it.

Apparently, his story, is that the throttle stuck making a left hand turn and he tagged a pole with the rear end of it...

I don't have any after pics yet..but here is the before

my friend put a lot of work in it too to get it right...

has a lot of new parts on it...interior is clean, new headlights....new smog stuff...etc..

Throttle stuck huh? Did the car have floor mats? I bet dude floored it around a corner and the pedal got caught on the mat......I've seen that happen to a few guys. But stock AODs are sooooooo slow out the hole.....I still don't see how he couldn't control it. His 1st 5.0?

Ok judging by the pics his story is complete BULLSHIT! There's no way of causing that much damage "tagging" a pole at a low speed left turn, he was trying to swang it and swinged it straight into a pole! Lol

kid admitted he panic and hit the gas instead of the brake and lost control. too bad he is a nice kid, not some dumb ass disrespectful teen. just drove beyond his abilities..... which sucks since it was a stock aod car... kind of embarassing

for me it really sucks no one on here could see all the things i had done to the car to make it a nice little driver.

Had someone buy a hatch from me and he only made it 5 min down the road , he gunned it and it went sideways and went over the center divide and took out the wheels and rack and ripped open the oil pan sadly this was his second fox but first stick I jus laughed when he called and said nice doing biz with you have a good day.

i think my buddy has that beat.... i sold my red 87 gt to my buddy. he drove from roseville to yuba city... his other frined was waiting at his house.... he picked him up went 2 blocks over and got it sideways and yea there went that. he kept driving it and crashed it like 4 more times b4 i parted it out on here.

i dont know why some people think they can buy a car and got hot rod it when there not even use to it

Side-show-sally has no skills behind the wheel. Should have spent more time in his RADIO FLYER with his buddies pushing him down the block. ....Hope the seller documented the DMV paperwork properly; or else this whole newly re-decorated pimped out ride and any other damages to people or property could be all yours! Im glad people walked away in the end tho.

.....Another reason i stress installing sub-frame connectors at least, and a 4-6 point roll cage. Car handles and responds phenominally better!!! ; Never know what can happen!
