I know how yoh feel bro, I love foxbodys but couldn't see myself being paranoid just driving to the store. That's why I bought my cobra to DD it and still have some fun and be in a stang. My old school only comes out once in awhile and they both stay safe inside my garage with some Extra protection

Trippin.

Use an alarm and "Autolock" and stop stressing over your $1500 car for gawd's sake.

If you have the removable steering wheel, it makes it 90% harder to steal them especially when the wheeld are turned.

I am messing around but on a serious note jaejae, life is too short to stress over a budget car. Take some precautions and drive that car everywhere with no worries!

I heard that! One of the main reasons why I sold my "SF Giants Coupe" and got back into the wonderful world of SN95's [Big Grin] Get yourself a 96-98 cobra and call it a day. Best bang for your buck and the PATS system makes them harder to steal.

I have a few leads on some nice purpose-built road race cars if you're interested...only thing is that they're out of state.

They might be $1500 when you start but after putting in all the goodies and parts you can easily be deep in your pockets when the car is said and done and even after that your still not done with the car. I love my fox bodies!

Nonop and race it. Then your only worry is wading it at the track.

i feel the op on this subject. i love foxies. but at the rate they get stolen. (already had one taken) it's just not worth having one anymore.. shit at first you just had to worry about them taken modded cars.. now you can't even have a clean stock mustang. now i'll never get rid of my 83gt had it almost 19 years. but i doubt i every buy another with out more garage space. Don't stress over it. Drive your car and enjoy it. Take normal precautions and you will be fine.

JaeJae, when I was younger I couldn't stand quiet exhaust. The thought of cats put me in a state of depression.

But consider it man... a nice hi-flow 2.5" H-pipe with a straight through muffler design (like superturbo) will be as quiet as stock and on an NA motor your power loss will be completely insiginificant (might even get a touch of low end).

The cops won't hear you, you save your ears for old age, exhaust doesn't stink, it's legal, and it's cooler to beat cars when you sound stock.

Never going back to off-road again.

That's words of wisdom for ALL Foxbody owners. You already get picked on just because it's a Foxbody... I had Longtubes to an O/R Prochamber and MAC cat back and never got messed with.. Then again it's a SN95 lol...

Now I'm Longtubes with O/R H pipe and Magnapsck cat back. It's louder but never get messed with. Cops actually like it and give a nod

You might just be tired of the car game in general. I know I was so I sold mine and bought a house. Never looked back. Now I want a boat lol.

Well honestly if you look to dump it, or wanna swap projects let me know. I always can use another track car.

Just don't give up to easily. My DD is the CSVT now and its still a decent fun. Sure not as much of an attention hog as the stang is. One thing for sure is that it is 1,000x more comfortable to drive.

+1, sometimes you just have to get away from it for a while to keep your sanity.
