How the fuck is that fair? They slapped him and jumped a counter to further the attack. He eliminated a threat, told them to stay down. They try to get Up they catch a whack. His previous record should have NO bearing on his action. Cops when presented with a threat can empty a hole clip on someone and be justified. But noooooo you can't defend yourself until you're sure you're safe from your attacker without now being charged and called excessive???

Force should only be used to the extent needed to stop the threat or allow you to escape. The line between self defense and malicious intent was crossed when he stopped, thought about it, and continued to hit the girls. The employee will face criminal charges as he went overboard. If he had some other frustrations in life he needed to get out he shouldn't have taken it out on them. The attackers got what was coming to them, but so will the employee

That dude should get a raise I was at Carls jr on Northgate the other day the way some people talk to those employees makes you want to give em a fn slap! Just cause a person works fast food doesnt mean you can crap on them. They should start a charity for his defense fund!

+1 society has gotten real soft. That shows the true colors of someone. You poke at someone for so long and they snap and you can't complain because for every action there's a consequence.

Not only was he justified in his actions, those chicks were lucky he didnt go to the fryer or worse. Also to the comment about him hitting, stopping and then hitting again being excessive. All I will say to that is, he is not a trained security or police officer. He has no idea what is or is not excessive, over the top or anything to the like. I was taught growing up to stop only when the opponent or myself is unconcious. By my standards he didn't go far enough. Also, I find this much better and much more justifiable than the cops, who are trained, emptying a clip and then reloading on unarmed civilians. Or worse, tazing civilians for a "bad attitude."
