i took my wifey 50 to maaco in san jose on tully rd and paid 1000 to take off rust on the roof and 1/4 panel, painted it grape and jet black hood w/ grape stripe on hood. they sprayed evenly no runs, but i regret not paying more to get more body work done. they were done in 4 days. my boy took his 50 their too it was already primered so he paid 400. painted bright red cuz its a cobra replica and i thnk it came out better than my wifeys other than a tiny smudge/run on roof. next tax season im taking my 50 their.

Vacaville maaco did an EXCELLENT white paintjob on my old vert. This was 8 years ago so who knows now.

I did the $250 job (1/2 off $500) plus the $100 prep package to get the warranty. For under 400 it was glass flat, smooth, etc.

Now I did prep the car, i did some bondo and block work and got the body flat before it went there. I only paid for them to "prep" it to get the warranty for the buyer of the car.
