There is a system update for all Android phones. Go to the main menu, hit settings, search for the update, and install. It takes about 15 min but I have noticed a considerable difference.

Haha. There isnt an update for all android phones.Updates for android come in 2 flavors:carrier updates(att, verizon, etc) and manufacturer updates(samsung, htc, etc)

You should be specific about your carrier and manufacturer if you want to be helpful.

Oh yeah fuck updates from either its all about custom roms. Why wait for months for your carrier or manufacturer to fix or upgrade something when you can get it right away from real devs.

Sprint released the gingerbread 2.3 android software yesterday. Comes with diffierent rosie, status and drop down bar and the app stroll is 3D.

I Evo is rooted and have been running the 2.3 for sometime now. Have fun with it for a few months utill the HTC Nexus S III drops at sprint @ Christmas time.

Yes, I said HTC Nexus, not Samsung. It will be the first device with 3.1 AKA Ice cream sandwich.

I've also had the evo 3D rom on my O.G Evo, but it has bugs and the file is still big for a snapdragon processor.

ok, what I found was that you cant down load it to your phone using via settings untill june 6th. there was an offical leak that has to be download like described yesterday. Its a leak and use at your own risk so I wont link it here. Just wait till Monday guys. It only Gingerbread. LOL

I am not sure but all I did was go under the settings in the main menu, go to system update and it was there. I downloaded it over the air.
