I remember someone on here saying this guy or company looked suspicious. Because dude was looking at his stang in a parking lot but left fast once he came out to his stang? Coming across the San Mateo bridge I saw the truck & snapped a pic! If this helped anyone out that was curiouse about that company/truck! I looked for the thread but dang way to far back to find LoL!!!

Good looking out, there's a number on the back of the truck too so maybe someone could do a little deeper digging to see what these guys are all about.

75% of tow truck drivers are either dumb as a rock, a tweak, or parolee.

Based on my very frequent contacts with over 30 companies on a rotational list, yes that number is very accurate.

do you work at the auto/dispatch desk in sac? or do you get your car impounded by the cops alot?

several requirements in cvc and the tsa require drug tests, back ground checks and they are required to keep up on tow certs. that being said to be on chp and police rotation being a ex-con, tweek , or dumb as a rock is no longer a option. but hell lets say the drive is a COMPLETE IDIOT he did flip those two cars back over and clean up the freeway for the several officers standing there directing traffic wondering " how are they going to clean this up duhhhhhhh".

those would be requirements for rotation, repo has more guidlines and rules.

im going to say you wanted to reference the fly by night tow companies like "fast and furius"

Yes that was I who saw this dude walking around the valley medical parking lot and standing near my car. When he saw me open the door, he began to walk away. Dude was acting very suspect though.

^^^ You sure you weren't parked in a tow away zone?

LMAO @ the "furius"

I can't find any info on the web about the company. Which is weird, but maybe they contract with towing companies and don't serve customers directly [Confused]

Not defending dude but that's a big ass tow truck to try to steal cars... I always imagine thieves would used something less suspicious and smaller like those self loading repo trucks...

I bet he is a gypsy tow driver...someone should call him and tell him they need a tow and see what he says

hes not on any rotations in santa clara county. hes not apart of the ppt program in san jose. i cant find a CA number for him either. if someone see him before i do look for the "CA" or "RA" and give it to me. he may have someone else's number on his truck and they dont know it.

The reference to CVC is extremely broad as many factors contribute to some your said requirements of commercial vehicle enforcement and laws.

Background investigations and random drug (which correct is a DMV requirement placed on APPLICABLE commercial license operators) does not automatically eliminate for Felony convictions OR if a person is on current drug sanctions.

yeah the vc is a pain in the ass it changes alot and you need to read it over and over.

so here ya go cvc 2430.5 , 2431 , 2430.3 .

these probably apply to fast and furius tow 2432 , 250 and 10801-10804
