i just traded my r1 bike for a 98 integra, riceboy edition...slow as hell, but pretty comparable on gas with the bike. any good forums to look up, particularly the sf bay area specific. not worldwide forums lol

I've been looking for a 1996-2000 Honda Civic strictly for gas reasons. But I can't seem to find any Bay Area forums to see if they got sum for cheap.

i agree, even in the 5k range its hard to find a decent d.d without being salvage title on craigslist.

Posted by fredfifty (Member # 10320) on :

Yea almost every damn civic or integra is salvaged, swapped, not bar'd, etc...i got lucky n found one clean/clear. So no bay area forums huh? I just joined that honda-tech forum for the great info, but i really want a forum bay area nor cal specific, like cafords...no banners and ads n stuff, that gets irritating as hell...thanks

Oh, and hold the popcorn...i still have my 50 n my tbss for backup lol

I have an 03 Oz ralley Lancer. It's a fun little car with decent gearing. Power though *thumbs down* But for a 4 door with a 5 speed family trips are fun and I still get 25-30mpg.

I got a 2000 Civic. Always was taken to the dealer for everything, and i'm continuing the trend... Never cared for finding a forum as i have no interest in modifying this thing at all... just a 30mpg daily...

I got mine for $2,500... 90k miles, clean title, never modded, all records from the dealer for every service... you just gotta hunt. Honestly the paper is a good place to look. Old people still sell in the paper, and they have some of the best cared for cars and sell for random ass prices...

Hell yeah I do. I got some old school japanese shit. a lil 81 celica 5 speed, RWD. Shits hella fun, chirps 2nd and gets 21mpg. Been looking on hellaflush.com and flushstance.com.

Once the cobra is done I plan to lower it, slap on some mesh wheels and maybe a single turbo.

idk where u been looking but theres alot of cars out there under 5k on craigs that can make great dd's that arent salvaged...i bought my 94 camry with 139xxx a year ago non salvage and its ran perfect since!

I've been riding in a Honda for about 2 years now. Sold the 50 when gas went up to $5 a gallon. RIding a 90' Accord with an H22a now. Low 14's ain't bad for a daily 4 banger.

I'd leave it as-is and just get some wheels with the correct offset to fill that widebody out nice.

i was never a fan of imports but ever since my brother bought a Mitsubishi Evo i kinda learned to love it. That car is quick and it handles. Coil overs all around, a cool exhaust system, intake, and a tune. I'll try to post up pics of it when i get home.

nice DC guys..

the very first car ive ever bought was a 1991 integra DA, miss that car!

the last ricer ive owned would be my 96 integra DC that i traded for my 89 Faleen because i needed a commuter badly! lmao.
 -

Had to do the HID kit! haha
 -

My current DD is this guy here, pretty relevant because its still an import.. haha. aint nothing fancy, but i sure am proud of her!

And to the 350z, put some narrower rear wheels on it and it'd be 10/10
