U just recover your gamertag for xbox live.. When u power on the xbox push the middle x.. Then select recover gamertag.. Put your email and password in and your done.. U can switch over saved data I beleive but I'm not sure about games as u purchase them and save them to the xbox harddrive.. I'll ask a friend..

All you need to do is buy a data transfer cable for the xbox hard drive. They are 20 bucks at gamestop. If you use your xbox alot however, u may have more than 4 gigs of data

what i did was, i went on ebay and bought a xbox slim hdd case (just the outer case/shell not a complete hdd for around $6-8) opened up my old original hdd from my xbox (dont worry its just a large case holding a common hdd). just put the old original hdd inside your new case for the slim and it will be good to go again.

There is a data connection cable you can buy to transfer your data to the new one. Gamestop should be able to help you with that.
