racing a ls1 with h/c/i and full bolt ons with a 150 shot i got a 89 lx 347 pro comp heads 205cc comp xe282hr cam and a holly intake with 30lb injectors with anderson pms tuned and full mm suspension

honest opinion..with a good driver and that setup the ls1 is a a low 11 high 10 sec car all day. I would say Ls1 but good luck anyway

h/c/i it probably makes 440-460 at the wheels all motor at the wheels depending on the set up. throw a 150 on top of that, I'm calling the LS1 for sure if he hooks/can drive it

You are racing a car with the same size engine & both of You have HCI but He has an extra 150 hp shot? You better hope He has traction problem's. You street racing or taking it to the strip? What kind of tires are both car's runnin? Also in Your sig it say's 100 shot & turbo in the making so will either of these be making it on for this race? Give Us ALL the detail's!!

+1 depending on what size cam nd Heads/intake set up he's running, I call the ls1. 347 vs a 346 nd you guys have basically the same set up. Except lsx parts make a lot more power compared to our 5.0s.

What kinda gears are you guys running? Both manual cars? I sure hope you pull a ford win.

I'll probably catch shit for this but I've been noticing alot lately that people act like lsx's are so damn high and mighty I always tip my hat off and I know those things are fast but I honestly think it'll be a close race except if the ls sprays and he doesn't but what do I know I'm a n00b lol

On average 347's H/C/I makes anywhere between 400-430rwhp. The ls1 has about 450rwhp+ with H/C/I and bolt ons. He should be able to beat you without spray with a good driver. Add a 150 shot not looking to good. But hey what do I know. I guess everyone is going to call ne a Chevey lover, but I speak my honest opinion, and I do not let the blue oval blind me. Good look btw. When did the OP mention anything about him having spray? There is nowhere stated he has a 150 shot.

Without spray from the LS1, I would say the Mustang has the better advantage because of the weight difference between the two (300-400lb).

As far as fast I think 11s is koo..I run 16s all day..also for every ok stang in the town their is 30 salvage /pos's ..maybe half of one that's fast with different colored fenders..point being their is fast shit everywhrere

8stang8 comes to hayward/uc sometimes lol, his shits fucking bad... Ive seen a couple nice ones, not alot though..
