I was wondering if there was a nice and flat stretch of road in Vallejo, about a mile or so? Since there doesnt seem to be much of a Police Force anymore, I thought it would be a good place to get some things done.

I am looking for road I can spend at least an hour or so on. I was just there today, I have Family there, my four kids were born in Vallejo. Vallejo is the place I first got shot at back in the 80s.

Yeah it's lame that there's is no road you can street race on in your city for an hour at a time that is a mile long, say that out loud to yourself and maybe you'll realize how ignorant that sounds.

Not wishing anyone would get shot because I have before and it hurt like hell, but I think street racing is lame as hell and I tend to agree with Trunkster on this one. WOW, this went the the wrong way, my statement about being shot at back in the day was just to say I am not too sacred to go to Vallejo, since they dont have much of a police force and just had a shooting on Springs Road during the day.

I just thought it would be a good place to have some races but doesnt mean I would be racing, since my Coupe isnt running and I dont think I want to race an eight second Mustang on the streets anyways. I would show up for some gambling if there was some money races.

I think the best road in vallejo to race on might be Columbus Parkway, if I had to choose one here. Slight curves, mainly straight but has a few lights

back to the original q! lemon street to glen cove exit, is nice guard railed and very strait but a slight uphill lol. but always been a good spot. we can even have shed look outs.

not here to get in the drama . but to answer the op's question. the light at lemon and curtola heading towards glen cove up 780 but has always been popular but serioulsy the police station is less then a half mile from that light and you will be racing towards the chp hub right past the glen cove exit and its slightly up hill. also remember sure there may be a few cops left here but there is a good portion of vallejo that is county controlled so we do have a lot of sheriffs rolling around still.in conjunction with chp having a main hub here so a quick call on the radio and everyone will be looking for you.

someone mentioned mare island. bad idea there is a shit load of pot holes, rough gravel that will just destroy race tires and one lane each way roads.there is only two ways in and out with a cop pretty frequently patrolling. also one of the ways in and out has a draw bridge so unless your stang is amphibious you will probably all get channel'd out of the only exit left or sleep in your car for the night out there.

in all honesty there is a few spots like mentioned above that are decent to i guess for lack of better terms "settle a score" with someone but nothing you can be at for hours at a time.

so in all honesty i really dont think there is anywhere good to do it but if i think of something ill hit u with a pm.
