Ok so nothing big. I just need someone to blue book a car for me, because I'm in the process of moving back to the bay from tracy and I have no internet or anything besides my phone. And kbb won't work on my blackberry for some reason.

Its a 1998 toyota 4 runner sr5.

-v6 4wd
-140k miles
-power windows, locks and steering
-sun roof
-Tow package
-cd/tape player
-ac
-cruise control
-salvage title

THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE AD...yet, so please don't tell me I'm in the wrong section!

I'd like a kbb value and for some of you CAford lowballers, some realistic prices.

Please and Thanks for any help.

I'd say it worth $3500

I know they don't give values to salvage titles. But I still want to know how much its worth and I'd knock off a couple hundred for the salvage title. Kind of common sense.

correct, that is the rule to go by, salvage title = comparable blue book * 50%.

wtf are you talking about? That toyota 5VZ-FE 3.4L is a badass motor. Guys get 300k+ miles out of those things easy.

I think you are thinking of the 3.0L in the 90-95 4runners, those were crap.

I sold my clean title 96 4runner limited for $6200 and it had 140k miles on it. You should be able to get 4k for yours easy.

Thanks for all the feedback/opinions, really helped alot. I guess I'm gonna make a For(d) sale ad pretty soon for about 3000-3500 or so since its in good condition, even thoough its salvage.

Dude my entire family is sick of tracy. My brother nd dad both work in hayward now nd I'm just aboutta transfer to hayward in a week or so. The commute and traffic is horrible. Huge drain in all of our pockets. If my brother didn't get free gas from the dealership, then we'd spend an extra 700-800 a month on gas for all 3 of our cars. You should move back, then we can all start goin to the meets again lol.

Dude you are an idiot. Its a 4,000 lb suv, they ALL get crappy gas mileage. It still gets better mileage than the same year explorer, expedition, tahoe, blazer etc so stop spouting off like you know what you are talking about. The 3.4L toyota v6 is a damn good motor.

Besides, the OP wasn't asking for your uneducated opinion on the motor, which you obviously know nothing about anyways.

It should sell for 4k easily.
