problem: disc games or blu ray's freeze up after 5 mins of play.

Some google searching suggests that this is from latest software update as many others have the same problem occuring shortly after the update as well.

Bought an external fan, but it's not overheating. If I play games or movies off the hard drive it functions just fine, so I think it's isolated to the laser.
