gat damn!!!. How in the hell does that happen? Man dump it. Seems hella unsafe. Be sure to disclose this to the next owner tho.

If your serious in keeping the car you can buy a "S box kit" from WILD RIDES for 700 bucks or something. It includes a complete upper mount & both torque boxes. But thats some work man!

WOW... that thing is [Eek!] SHOT!

My boy sold a car that had a upper control arm missing that he didn't know about. The buyer took him to small claims and he had to buy it back

this isnt hard to fix if u have a mig welder and a hammer and dolly and lots of time on your hands with a little cash should be no prob
1 take out the tank
2 drop out the rear end
3 take out the upper control arms
4 go get sheet metal
5 12 pack and a bottle
6 drink to a nice buzz
7 grab the welder
8 beat shit with the hammer
9 weld the holes
10 go to your local summit catolog and buy some torqe boxes
11 put every together
12 make a dount vid for all of us to watch and try to get in before the lock
13 read all the hate comments in the street racing section
14 smash your keyboard and scream at your comp screen

lol good luck [Big Grin] [patriot]

WOW!! That's some shadetree mechanic stuff going on there! I would call the guy out on it as that's some BS. Used cars are sold as is though so your kinda screwed for not having it checked out before you got it. Maybe you can make him feel guilty about it and get some of your money back from him to get it fixed.

Good news is now you have an excuse to back half the car and put some nice big tubs in there. [Big Grin]

That's gonna take hours of labor to fix, and still may never be as strucutally sound as it was originally. Part it out unless your really attached to the car. You've got to think about your safety and what may happen if you ever get rear ended or wreck that car and it shreds to pieces.

I always look under a car before I buy it for any signs of frame damage unless I personally know the person and the car.
