I do a monthly fire extinguisher inspection at the largest auto auction here in Sac. I usually forget to bring my camera, but I got a few pics out there last time... Its amazing how many cars are out there, & what you can find. makes me wish I had a dealers license because I know you could get a good deal out there. I have seen GT500's, Z06's, Vipers, & even a 1 of 500 Saleen Parnelli Jones edition, but unfortunately I didn't have my camera that time...

Anyway, this is what i saw last time out there... Maybe you might see your old car in here LOL...

You have to have a dealers license to buy cars there. Most of the local small car lots with the mustangs, camaro's, & WRX's etc get there cars from this auction...

Probably get them super cheap. I wonder what it takes to get a dealers license. Or just find someone with one and just get in good w/ them.

Im not sure what it takes, but 1 of my buddies has a license. He buys the cheaper cars like 2000-2002 Taurus's, Camry's, Exploders etc... He get's a clean 2002 Taurus for like $800, & then flips em for a nice profit. You have to have CASH to buy a car there though, & the 03/04 Cobras are probably about $4k cheaper than you would buy them on the street...

Gettin a dealers license used to be a pain in the ass back when I tried. Tests, permits and be bonded. I heard they went to some sort of lottery system now too.

Both the pics of the yellow Cobra & the Silver Cobra were taken a few months back when i was out there. The white Cobra & the red viper as well, so all those cars might already be out on the street...

Not all the cars at brass are repos some come from big dealerships as trade ins also I used to go there with my friend pretty good deals, but not worth getting a dealer license just for one car.

I'm not 100% sure they have been repo'd, they may have been traded in to a dealer?

This car originally belonged to a guy named Victor that lived up in Grass Valley. He was also a member of SacStangs. I remember people giving him $hit for shaving the door handles and side vents. It was a really nice car with a KB. He did dumb things to it though, like replacing the rear seats with yellow fur. [Roll Eyes]

Thats where I work. I picked up some of those cars that you took pics of. They just ran a Lambo. Got up to 100k but the bank didn't take. Picked up pretty nice NSX a few weeks back.

The cars can come from Repos, Lease returns, trade ins, and other dealers that buy from one auction and sell at another. BSAA(Brashers Sacramento Auto Auction) is a Ford Factory Auction. Every other week is a ford sale and they will have lease returns or ford repos. Some cars will have less then 10k miles on them.

Oh yeah Yello Cobra was repo. I believe it was either Wachovia or WFS or Fireside. I move a lot of cars. The Silve GTO came from Salinas that is one that I picked up myself. The white Cobra with the white rims has been sitting there for a long time. The Grey Tundra behind the orange lotus I delivered today to Yuba City Toyota.

The picture with the grey BMW I can spot 5 trucks in the back ground that are good friends trucks. The Red freightliner in the back is Paul, The 10car Pete with the hood fliped is one of Leos, then there is a blue 3 car that belongs to Doug. Next is the front of a gold F-350 that is a 3 cars and J.R. drives that. The Blue Pete is a Mexican dude from Fresno and then the Black Freightliner in the front is Leos 7 car truck.

Yeah it was almost a mineral grey color. It has been there for a while. They just had a new battery put in it, cost almost $900. The battery sits low in the driver fender and takes several hours to carefully remover and replace. I saw when that Saleen came in never saw it leave.

They have been bringing the clunkers in from John L.Sulivan.I thought they were suppose to be smashed but I guess they are gona sell them off "as is" they have had that crap ran through the motors. None of them run all they do is tick and never turn over. Yeah in a few more months we will get busy big time cause all those people that never had a car payment cause thier "clunker" was paid for, can't afford thier new car. I predict just after the new year it will get nice and busy.
