I had this front chin spoiler sittin around for some time so I decieded to throw it on the coupe, just to see if I'd like it. I'm sure I'll get some mixed opinions. What do you guys think?

Not the best pic but you get the idea

 -

Without the front lip
 -

My brothers going to snap some real pics with his SLR soon...

It's technically not even mounted yet, just on with zip ties. I really liked how it looks on other LX's. But I tried to be different and a mounted it farter foward. I may try and mount it back further and it wont hang as low.

Luke,
Is it the way it looks, or you just not a fan of anything on the front an LX?

Posted by uh0h50 (Member # 3125) on :

pull it back some more.. i had one on my svo but the car is too low and kept scraping everything. i liked the look but had to ditch it. did u pull it off a ranger?

Posted by J24I (Member # 2598) on :

Yes it's off a ranger. I had to trim the sides a little. I'm not too worried about scraping it, I barely drive the car anymore. I'll try mounting it farther back and see if I like the look.

Thanks [patriot]

Just looks out of place imho. It looks great without it. Leave the LX coupes stock looking (no wings, no ground effects, etc)

I think that it looks fine.

I have tried to move things farter forward & always had negative results. [Big Grin]

but I think a picture from some distance away would be better. Hard to judge the whole car from that close

I say take it off. In my opinion, coupes should be left alone. The only body mod that looks good is a cowl hood.

Posted by 88DroptopGT (Member # 2535) on :

I want to see it with this bumper filler for some reason. I think the extra black trim will set it off + match the theme.

i been thinking of something like this for awhile now, but now that i see it, it looks much better WITHOUT IT.. can we see some side profiles?

J24I, i guess thats the only flaw to having a perfect looking fox, you tend to ask yourself, now what? hahaha.. still looking sick bro.

Thanks everyone [patriot] I'll leave it on for a little bit and take it off but to be honest I'll probably rip it off in a driveway before that happens [Razz]

Thanks dude. Seriously, I ask myself all the time what else could I do different thats not seen very often. I always wanted to have a lower then average coupe on CCW classics, a few years and sets of rims later, I had them. I even edited a lil extreme pic of how I wanted it to look like a couple years ago...

Ifyou keep your car and put a cowl hood next, then your car will be like this one! I saw it on mustangworld.com and thought it was your's!

They're actually 275-40-17s.

I got more PM's about buying the whole car then anything. But like I said before, it's got a salvage title and 215k miles on original tired motor. In the long run, I would part it out if I ever finally decide to let it go. As the car sits, it's worth more to me then someone would want to spend. [burnout]

Yea I've talked to the dude on corral before through PM's about my car. The guy really liked my car after posted pics of my car on there. I even liked his car on the 18" bullits. I was kind of upset at first when I seen he had the same exact car almost, but it's cool he liked my car that much. Maybe Im just jealous his is cleaner. I still like mine better though for some reason [Razz]

Thanks bro. Suspension is nothing special. Eibach Sportlines & KYB Gr-2's. The lower look probably comes from rear because of the rear Pro3i adjustable control arms. So the car is dropped about 2" in front and 2.5 in the rear.
