I failed my sound decibel test at the state ref today. Anyone else ever taken this test? I have my stock h-pipe and SLP M1's. I was at 98db and the limit is 95db. Anyone passed with Bassani? I've been thinking about going that route.

Lastly anyone have a stock cat back I could borrow? [Big Grin]

The state ref is back. I was cited for too loud exhaust or "Modified Exhaust".

I got the same Ref Ticket, I just paid the fine, it was something like $250 but when I went to court they reduced it to $30.

Why get a new catback? Just get some cheap mufflers from summit. Unbolt yours then put the other ones in. Unless u had your cat-back welded on. I always keep my cat-backs bolt on style for this reason in particular

I'm trying to get a new catback because I'm tired of the SLP raspy sound. They've been on the car for 2yrs now so it's time for something new.

Anyone have a stock catback laying around?

They tested it with some sound db device. It was tested about 3 ft away. I didnt really ask any questions since I was already pissed from driving my mustang in the pouring rain at 7am half awake.
