Somebody educate me on a Grand Tornino,

My Aunt passed away last year and she left behind a Grand Torino which is sitting in my dads garage. That car hasn't ran since I can remember. Needs interior redone, most likely some engine work and a new paint job. Is worth the project?

Below is what it looks similar too minus the hood vents plus it's a dull green.

My girl and I saw this last night. Hilarious!
One of the better movies I've seen at the theatres in a long time.
LOL, when he called the dude getting punked by the 3 guys a "pussy!"

I saw this when it first came out I happened to be in LA during its first opening a few weeks ago. It was only showing in LA and NY. Then I took a few friends to see it at Union Landing when it first came out in limited theaters. I swear I must have laughed the WHOLE ENTIRE movie. Walt Kowalski is one dude I would not mess with I have a feeling that he would beat me like the red headed step child that I am. This is honestly one of the BEST movies I've ever seen! Some notable verbatim from the movie without giving away too much:

fish heads
spooks
gooks
slopes
micks
sandbags
daygo
rice rocket
YUM YUM!!!!!!!

i liked the story but the acting was horrible IMO, even clint's acting has fallen off.

But the thing i didnt like was all the racial slurs dude was throwing around, and people actually laughing at them like there were funny. I dont think those spots were meant to be funny, but i could be wrong cuz we all know what clint thinks of asian folks.

And im sure it didnt help watching it in downtown walnut creek with a crowd that was prodominately white cracking up during those spots.

but of course that is all my opinion.

Its a great movie! They were meant to be humorous if you see some of the interviews. The movie is about this guy moving away from his racist views and befriending the people he had issues with. I don't see the problem with the racial slurs and the humor behind them at some points.

One of the best movies I have ever seen!

I thought eastwood's performance as an old, racist, grumpy bigot was awesome. After looking back on it, Toad and Sue's acting really wasn't all that great, but for some reason it didn't bother me too much.

And just FYI, I am Asian and laughed nearly from beginning to end. Doesn't mean I hate my own kind, I guess I just had a different perspective/understanding of the movie.

I found the movie entertaining. Hell I'm asian and I found the racial slurs funny:) You just have to remember that this is 'just' a movie. Pretending that people don't or didn't have those racial feelings is silly. You have to remember where Clint's character came from (War..blood...guts..we are talking hand to hand bayonet style..not the sterile push the button..drop the bomb..blow everything to smithereens type of war)...when Clint's character made a comment (used you as sandbags) you can imagine what the guy has gone through.

Eastwood is the man.

I'm asian and it didn't bother me. The problem is this world is too PC. People are just looking for a reason to be offended.
Personally Clint treated everyone fairly-they all got insulted! lol
