Yea sold them both...dude came with 3 people and got em both.
I have a 66 New Yorker and 2 69 lemans. One of which I may be selling because it was a donor car.
Well good thing is now I can just talk smack and give computer advice on the forums. SInce I have no real purpose anymore ...My plan is if I get back into stangs it will be a mach, roush or cobra. No more foxes unless its a cobra.

I cannot lie....I have a appt at a dealership to check out a mach. What would be a good price to pay for one? So I go in there armed with knowledge. I believe it is a 04.

Honestly, right now is the best time to buy one because the prices are at an all time low, i have seen some go for around 15k with around 40k miles which is a pretty good deal considering i paid almost double that(hayward ford stealership) in the summer of 07 for my 04 with 17k miles. Overall im glad i went with the mach, because although it is N/A, it is no slouch, it ran a 13.3 stock besides mufflers on street tires burning rubber every shift...Its a pretty good platform to build on seeing as it has a solid rear end vs. the cobra's irs which is known for that hoppity-hop....Go with a Mach 1 and i promise you will never regret it.

I like the Mach's (as my friend has one) but the way I see it, if you are going into payments, you might as well get the 03/04 Cobra.
You'll spend another 6-8 grand but you'll be capable of stomping just about any car out there.
I guess I should speak for myself. I'm just tired of having all these cars I have to keep modifying to keep up. It would be nice to have something ready to go.
If your looking for an everyday comfortable ride, then its a cool car.

The last time I was stangless was about 5 or so years ago. I was broke and just bought a house, so I had no choice but to ditch the 91lx . Well on the better note I have two again and should sell one but I don't think that will happen because I like them both (probably happen if I loose my storage in the next 20yrs). One day I'll find a fox body that I'll like enough to keep until then I'll just have two old mustangs .

I keep finding myself trolling craigslist now looking at stangs..lol. I think I have Vehicular A.D.D. But I really want to get out of foxes. Unless its a really nice coupe or a Cobra.

Cant go wrong with a Mach or a Cobra N8.... But IMO, although the Cobra's are faster, & more refined, the Machs stand out from the crowd & are more rare.
From what I have seen N8 post on here, he aint all about speed & modding his cars to go faster, so why spend the extra 5-7k for a Cobra if thats not his Forte anyway???

hahaha, I am definitely a more show than go type of person. Hell I dont even drive fast. The thing is I really do not want a payment right now. That is the one hurdle. I do like the look of the Machs. Cobras seem to hold value better. I would want something to hold onto basically. I am not really into modding like Epik pointed out.

I got the perfect "show" not much "go" car for you bro! Let me know what the wife says
Really looking to sell it soon so I can pick up a fox coupe...AutoX season is right around the corner and I think a foxbody would be a better choice to beat up

If you caught that much you should have also caught that I have 5 boys (2 teens) and a wife. They make my wage look like minimum wage. But my 401k is cool and their college is taken care of I have a different set of priorities than most. Like I got a nice bonus from a client. I looked at Roushes and was prepared to cash out. What did I do? Bought 4 decked out Area 51's for my company. 2 Boxx stations. Thought about adding raised floors to my home for a mini data center. Oh and I supplemented our rendering farm. Not much room for a car after that.
Epik I would go with black or that clean ass orange. I am also thinking about the saleen here? Damn you epik, you just made my mind wander again. Must not buy car, must not buy car....must not buy car.

This is how I see it. If your a car guy your a car guy. No ifs, ands or buts. You will always look and have a need.
Posted by N8 (Member # 6048) on

Also I do not get the whole 2v 4v, thing. Is it that one has more possibilities or starts off as a faster car? I know cobras are historically faster but as pointed out I am more into show and collectible/rare factor. But this is not to say I wanna get my ass handed to me by Yugo's.
