anyone else have this done.. its bull shit, it sucks sitting around doin nothin all day not working not training nothing. my stomach hurt hella bad and i was puking like crazy then i went to the e.r and they removed it between 12 thursday and 1am friday morning and i went home that friday at 3 pm. this sucks

Yeah dude been there done it. It is fuked up shit to go through. When you wake up you have a 3 in scar and feels like you did a million sit ups. Good thing you still alive, kaiser sent my ass back home thinkin anti biotics was gna stop it or some shit lol. Get well man and play w/ palmala or call the head doc. [patriot]

I had my mine removed almost exactly a year ago. It's so weird that you post this because I literally just got off the phone with my insurance trying to dispute charges I'm just now recieving because they didn't pay $500, from a surgery that was a year and 2 weeks ago.

Here's how my experience went, I was driving home from a car show in Vegas and got this very sharp pain about an inch above my belly button. The pain over time moved right and then down towards front of my hip over the first day. 2 days go by and my dumbass is still trying to fight the worse pain of my life. I slept about 44hrs out of the 48hrs before I decided to see a doctor. Luckily it never ruptured. I went into surgery and had it removed. 3months no work (was part time so i was out of a job & income), no gym, no exercise...Overall it sucked, but I'm thankful to be okay and alive. After the surgery I talked to couple nurses about it, one of the nurses there lost her brother and dad from appendicitis, another lost her mom from appendicitis. All because it ruptured. I never knew how common it was and how fatal it can be if it ruptures.

I lost a friend when I was younger to a ruptured appendix. Funny because in the south you damn near have to be bleeding profusely, have a bone poking through your skin, before the elders will believe that "witch hazel" or "castor oil" wont help you. My grandma had a cure for everything when I was young.

Glad your cool tho, could be a bad situation if you don't get it checked.

all you guys are hilarious.. my stomach had been hurting for about 2 days before but i thought it was cause i eat so much bull shit so i didnt do anything til the last minute (i take pain very well) i called my ma and said i couldnt take the pain anymore she wanted to call 911 but i know that ambulance ride will rip your ass of hella money. anyways my ma found me hanging out my car throwing up all over the place (i was gonna drive myself) so she rushed me to walnut creek kaiser and thank you u.p.s not for delivering a package but for giving me good benfits.
it ended up only costing me a little under a 100for everything thats all the meds and e.r visit. that delata pain killer was awesome but i was out of the hospital in a little over 24s hours. i think the worse part was i told my mom to drive faster she said she was already going 80 like that was fast i should of just drove my magnum and been there 30 mins earlier she was in oakland. but yea they took it out and i still dont even know what the apendix is nor do i care. they did the surgery with 3 little cuts. but thanks guys for all your comments you guys made me laugh and sorry this was so long haha
