A company that provides dry docking and ship repair services, located in Alameda, has multiple openings for structural welders.

This is a day shift position that pays between $18-$22/hr depending upon experience. The shift is 7am - 3:30pm, plus overtime.

All qualified candidates MUST submit to a strict drug and background check.

Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:

- MIG and some TIG welding on marine parts (boats, ships and yachts)
- Performing other related duties as required

Job Skills and Experience:

- Must have 3-5 years of welding in a production and environment
- Must have MIG and TIG experience
- Experience with carbon steel and aluminum
- Must be able to work outside (extreme heat and cold rain)
- Must be comfortable with a 6/10's schedule (6 days/week, 10/hr days)
