When I bought the 03 cobra they neglected to inspect the clutch. It was a job just to shift gears for the first few weeks. I brought it up right away and I worked out getting a new clutch free of charge. I also sold the idea of getting a ford racing clutch instead of a stock unit. Well the idea worked, and it is installed..... can't be happier.
